Welcome to the Pine Lake Ratepayers' Association Website

We are located between Highway #169, between Gravenhurst and Bala. 

Our membership consists of full-time residents and recreational cottagers both on the shores and in the immediate vicinity of Pine Lake.

Our intent is to represent the views and interests of our membership at both District and Town political levels. We will also, when appropriate, lend support to other similar organizations. It is also our intent to act as a source of information. As appropriate, we will post news bulletins on this website to advise of local political decisions and rulings relevant to our membership.

We also encourage members to post any comments, concerns or hopes they may have regarding the lake either in the PLRA Forum section of the website, or by e-mail to any of the executives. (Please note when posting on the website the author's identity may be withheld from the public, but will always be identifiable to the webmaster, and the rules of common courtesy and political correctness will always apply. The association reserves the right to exclude any member abusing the website.)

To act in the best interests of the membership, the officers must be aware of the wishes and concerns of the membership.

The best way to achieve this is, we believe, electronically over the Internet. The executive may from time to time, communicate directly with the membership by e-mail to ask for a general opinion or seek guidance on a specific issue. It is vitally important that members respond to these e-mails. A lack of response will be taken as a lack of interest and only the views of those that do respond will be put forward.
